The Wellington Phoenix reserves will look to continue their good form in another home double header in the penultimate week of the 2024 National League. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both women\u2019s and men\u2019s reserves matches will be played at Fraser Park on Sunday, November 17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Phoenix women\u2019s reserves kick off the afternoon against beaten Chatham Cup finalists Western Springs at 1pm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Coming off a 6-0 win against Central Football, Western Springs will provide a good test for the Phoenix as they look to finish the season strong. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wellington will want to make it three games unbeaten as they continue a good late-season run of form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At 4pm, the men\u2019s reserves take on reigning National League champions Wellington Olympic in a match with huge implications for the league table. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Olympic, who feature a number of former Phoenix academy and first team players including head coach Paul Ifill, sit fifth but can still secure a top-two place and qualify for the grand final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Nix had their own morale-boosting victory last weekend, beating Auckland City away in a rollercoaster game that finished 4-3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the youth National League, the Wellington Phoenix U-17 girls\u2019 side will take on Western Springs at 10.30am at Fraser Park on Sunday, November 17. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They wrapped up the league title last week by beating Southern United, but will still aim to finish the season with a win in their final game.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
