The Nix have been beaten by Western United and Canberra United in the opening two rounds, while the Jets lost at Perth Glory last weekend after a home draw with Western Sydney Wanderers.<br><br>\u201cI\u2019m actually really looking forward to this game because I think the two teams are quite evenly matched and also have a similar sort of style,\u201d Temple told media on Friday before the team\u2019s trip to Newcastle.<br><br>\u201cI think there will be less big physical transitions and a little bit more technical stuff through the middle of the pitch so it\u2019ll be a good battle.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Press Conference - Paul Temple comments on upcoming match against Newcastle Jets\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/WTTSDwo1tw0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>And he has been \u201cpretty impressed\u201d with the Jets under new coach Ryan Campbell.<br><br>\u201cI think Ryan\u2019s done a good job. They\u2019re doing some pretty good things tactically. They\u2019re really trying to build out from the back and play through the midfield.<br><br>\u201cWe\u2019re kind of similar in the sort of style in terms of what we\u2019re trying to do with the shorter passes and things in the build-up.<br><br>\u201cI think they\u2019ve done quite well and played pretty well in the games so that\u2019s good to see for the league.\u201d<br><br>The statistics back up Temple\u2019s assessment. They were expected to have scored four goals in the first two rounds but have found the back of the net just twice.<br><br>\u201cWe\u2019ve created a huge amount of chances over the course of the two games and for us it\u2019s about turning those chances into more effective outcomes. We\u2019ve been working on that a bit this week.<br><br>\u201cAs soon as we get that goal then I think the momentum will shift quite a lot. A few players are waiting to hit the back of the net.<br><br>\u201cI\u2019m pretty happy with the process and getting to that point.
