The Wellington Phoenix want to say a big thank you to everyone who supported last month\u2019s Match For Good<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In total $70,281 has been raised for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC\u00ae) New Zealand.

The men wore a bespoke RMHC kit for their round 24 A-League match against Western Sydney Wanderers at Sky Stadium.

Each player\u2019s shirt featured the name of a child and the number of nights their families stayed at a Ronald McDonald House.

They were auctioned off post-match and raised $12,222 for RMHC.

McDonald\u2019s customers donated $28,000 at kiosks and drive-thru during the week of the match and McDonald\u2019s franchisees across Aotearoa have matched the total.

Paladin Sports has also raised $1,640, having donated $10 for each replica RMHC kit sold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wellington Phoenix general manager David Dome is thrilled the club has been able to help raise more than $70,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities New Zealand.

\u201cThe donations from the Match For Good <\/em>will help RMHC continue to fund hundreds of stays for families in need across Aotearoa.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
